Solène holds a master's degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from University College London (UCL). Her research assessed the validity of the current species abundance and population trends based on traditional statistical modelling techniques. She also specialised in soil ecosystems and researched the potential for machine learning to predict the impact of climate change on soil functioning and ecosystem services. She is fluent in French and English.

Solène is passionate about biodiversity and community co-benefits in regard to carbon projects. She will work on a variety of projects at HAMERKOP, from Nature-based Solutions projects to cookstoves projects.
